Rites of Offering

 

Whispering Lake Grove, ADF holds periodic Rites of Offering during months when there is not a high day ritual. Rites of Offering provide quarterly  opportunities for Grove members and guests to honor and offer to any of the three Indo-European Kindred.

 

Originally these rituals were semi-private Blessing rituals inspired by Stone Creed Grove, ADF, which were designed to allow members to continue to strengthen and reaffirm our connection with the three Kindred, the Noble Spirits, the Mighty Dead and the Shining Ones. Blessing Rites also provided a venue for Grove members completing their AD.F Dedicant Path work to take Dedicant Oaths, as well as, provide a forum for experimental liturgy.

 

During November of 2006 we decided to hold our Rites of Offering as open-to-the-public rituals to fulfill the needs of our local community.
